Who is Dawson Strangway?
Hi! I am a Sarnia, Ontario-born theatre artist that is usually as comfortable on the stage as I am off in the wings. I completed my Bachelor's in Dramatic Arts at Brock University where I worked with Mirror Theatre and became immersed with using theatre as a catalyst for education. Soon after, I found a love for theatre production at the Victoria Playhouse in Petrolia, ON.
I'm a maker -- I make things happen. I've crafted puppets, refinished hundred-year-old furniture and I love putting up a good shelf. I've played a hand in building dozens of sets, created jukeboxes, prop swords and I specialize in painting things black! I have an appreciation for audio production and a love for music and song writing.

Who was Strangwish?
Henry Strangways was a 16th Century 'Gentleman Pirate' that was 'also sometimes known as Strangwish.'
Dawson Strangway is a 21st Century artist that's adopted his moniker and will now also sometimes be known as Strangwish.
Are they blood related? That remains to be seen but they do look a little similar... Don't they?
